Concept Cars*: Cool Autos of the Future

Honda, Acura, Ford, Mazda, Volkswagen and Hyundai all debuted new auto concepts last December 1-10 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The show featured seven of the best automobile concepts created by 6 of the leading automobile companies in the world.
Don't blink. One of these could be the one you'll be driving, not far from now.

The Honda Step Box

Looking like something you’d see on the streets of the Roppongi District of Tokyo, the Honda Step Box concept is a mini-van any lover of small, oddly shaped vehicles can get behind. Honda has been using the word “step” in car names since the 1970’s — “step” describing any boxy, utility-oriented vehicle.Designed as an expression of Honda’s packaging prowess, the Step Box features a mid-engine design and a fully maximized and quickly adaptable interior. Envisioned as an urban vehicle, the Step Box uses maximum interior space while minimizing exterior size — Oh, it’s really cute too.

The Acura Advanced Sedan

Acura has gone increasingly upscale the past few years and the new advanced Sedan Concept sufficiently outlines their new design strategy. “The goal of the Advanced Sedan Concept was to look two generations ahead of where we are now and capture the essence of an ultra luxurious sedan, but give it a bolder, stealthier, more mysterious presence than contemporary vehicles,” says Dave Marek, chief designer for Honda R&D. “We think that the vehicles sleek lines recall the past while also looking forward to the future.”


The Volkswagen Tiguan

As close to an actual production model seen at the auto show, Volkswagen’s Concept Tiguan, which VW bills as a “small Touareg” is the manufacturer’s entry into the crossover market and is set to come to market at the end of 2007. The Tiguan is powered by a new BLUETEC “Clean TDI” turbo diesel developed with partners Mercedes-Benz and Audi.


The Honda REMIX

Honda’s REMIX, a small two-seat design concept is built around the traditional Honda set up -- a front-wheel drive platform with a 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Throw in a sport suspension, large brakes and tires and you’ve got the Civic Si of the future.



The Hyundai HDC10 Hellion

A car inspired by a backpack? Only in California. “The Hellion was inspired by a backpack designed by Oakley,” says Joel Piaskowski, chief designer, Hyundai California Design Center. “The subtle camouflage print pattern on the removable soft-top roof and seat inserts was inspired by surf wear. Camo is a very popular fashion statement that transpired from the SoCal surf culture.”


The Mazda Nagare

Like an RX-8 from the future, the Nagare – Japanese for “flow” – is a four-seater sports car, powered by a hydrogen-fueled rotary engine. Mazda’s global design director, Laurens van den Acker sums it up: “The Nagare is a celebration of proportions and surface language that will evolve into subsequent designs planned for presentation at future international auto shows. Nagare examines light and shadow, and begins to reveal the global design cues for the next generation of Mazda vehicles.”


The Ford Mustang by Giugiaro

While not a brand-new from scratch design concept, the Mustang by Giugiaro is a reinterpretation of the Pony Car by famed Italian design house Italdesign – Giugiaro S.P.A. With its seductive lines, muscular swagger, large glass roof and Ford racing underpinnings, designer Fabrizio Giugiaro took an American classic and transmogrified it into an Autostrada Killer. Expect to see this vehicle at Detroit’s annual Woodward Dream Cruise for years and years to come. Multo bellissimo, Ford.

A FedEx delivery came in this morning.
It's for Kuya Twit . He's still off at work, though.

Around eight this evening, when he came home he slowly and nervously opened it. There were a few papers (documents, I think). And a small booklet.

A green one. I swear I saw it.

It was his passport.

And then -- there's the news.
He's leaving. A week from now. To Australia.
Things went on so fast. I still can't believe it. I won't be spending this Christmas with my brother. But I fully understand why.

It's just that -- whoa. (Give me some space to breathe!)

Bunch of crap

i feel sick. right now.

• my throat's not fine recently. there's something wrong with it.
• my room's so messy. i wish i could pimp it as fast as 10 minutes without feeling tired. i'm not lazy, ok. i just don't feel like burning any more fat.
• my laundry - they're like payatas right now. *yes, i do my laundry. (not your average guy, eh?)
• my mp4 player - the usb cable hasn't been functioning normally.
• my phone - it's ok.
• my cd writer - it's broken. "a reset error" occurs everytime i try to burn a cd - i don't even know what it means
• i have a runny nose. with teary eyes, of course. i hate it so much.
• my funds are starting to run low - and i haven't even started buying presents..
• chickenjoy - PLEASE NOT AGAIN. i've been eating it for almost three days now that it doesn't taste anything, anymore.
• the dishes - my goodness i haven't been doing household chores recently .. uh oh.. bad boy.

sniff *sniff. i hate this. i just don't feel right. i'm so sick.. of evrything.

Blessed

I've never been this happy before. [I guess 'tis my early Christmas present from Santa]

It just feels so good to know that after all these years, there was always that someone who never stopped caring.

I'm so blessed right now. Knowing where and how he is. Knowing that he is okay. That's a lot.

Now, what I just have to worry about is to when and how I'm gonna meet my bestfriend again.

Maybe the Christmas break. Yeah, that would be perfect. Waaah.. na-excite ako bigla! Sana pasko na.. Miss ko na rin talaga siya.

Whew. We have a lot of catching up to do.

Awesome tech - love it. *Update

Ok. So I can't wait any longer.

Yup.

I can't wait for Blogger beta to finish what they're trying to accomplish to improve Blogger.com.

What am I talking about? It's my mobile blog (moblog). I desperately wanted to edit the layout because I really think it's a crap - i didn't make it! Blogger Mobile used its default settings.

As a result, I forced myself in creating a new Blogger account (the old one - not in beta) in order to claim that blog and at the same time, edit it.

Whew. A long process, in other words. But it came out okay.

Awesome tech - love it.

Later this afternoon, Kuya Twit and I decided to visit a Globe and a Smart Wireless Centers in order to configure the GRPS, MMS, WAP, and 3G settings of our mobile phones (naks, ang yabang ko.. lol.)

Since dumaan pa si kuya sa bank, namili muna ako ng ilang mga gamit sa NBS. Ilang pack ng notebook filler, a pen, a binder. OK na.

Nagtingin-tingin na rin ako ng mga textbooks na medyo related sa mga subjects ko this 2nd semester. Eto ang ilan:

Hay naku. Ang mamahal. Sa totoo lang 'di pa naman ako talaga sigurado kung iyan nga ang mga required o recommended na textbooks (depende kasi sa prof. minsan eh). Kung ganun man, baka mag-monopolize na lang ulit kami ni Sith ng mga libro sa library. Hahahaha. Sana lang wala ang mga aklat na iyan sa Reserved Section. :-)

Anyway, as soon as i got home, i tried some of the phone features that required an internet connection. Siyempre nagload muna ako - siguradong bawas sa load ang mga ganyang features. (In fairness, the airtime fee of Smart for a mobile internet connection is just P10 for every 30 mins. - o diba, para ka lang din nag-susurf sa isang typical internet cafe? Cool.)

I think this is so cool. Haha. Obvious ba..? Talagang may entry ako eh. lol.

It's P10 per photo/entry sent. Unfortunately, right at this moment, since my Blogger account is in Blogger Beta, I am (so far) not allowed to "claim" the blog that they have created where my sent Photo Blogs are. However Blogger.com is fixing it (that's why it is Blogger Beta, meaning not yet fully functional - still a beta, still undergoing reconstruction and improvement - in the tech-y tongue).

Thus, since I am not able to "claim" the blog, i can't, for the meantime, edit the layout, etc.

Blog here, blog there, blog everywhere.

Watching over

Later today I found a dark-colored butterfly in the house. Like what always happens this time of the year.

I'm glad.

I'm happy to see it.. again. My grandparents in the province always believed that it's a manifestation of a loved one that has already left us.

I think it's my mom.

It is.

As always.

And I'm happy to see her.

I know I wasn't able to visit her today in the cemetery, like last year (and the other year, too. I think) but she knows how much I miss her.

I miss her everyday.

But there's nothing to think about because I know she's always here. Watching.

Guiding me always.

I love you, mom.

It's kinda sad that I won't get to visit my mom and my lolas this All Saint's Day. I'm sick! ~ measles, man.

Raizen is 9 months old today..

36-hour sem-break

Wow. Unbelievable. Unimaginable.


I never thought I'd go this far - to have only an approximately 36 hours [could be less] of sem break.

Give me a break [literally]. Darn it.

Kakatapos lang ng huli kong finals kaninang umaga. Sa wakas natapos din ang sem na 'to. My worst sem, so far [academically]. Oh no. I have to do good (I mean, better) in order to have decent grades before going into med school. Whew. Hirap.

Speaking of med school, kaya naman 1 & a half days lang sem break ko (specifically from 12 noon kanina hanggang bukas) kasi starting this Sunday up to October 31 (straight ha - no free day), my classmates and I will be attending sessions sa isang review center in preparation for the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test) this coming December. Then we'll have (I think) a 5-day "All Saints' Day Break" tapos yun na naman, review na naman. And immediately after that - enrolment na! Fudge. 'San ka pa.

I just hope I don't break.

And sana maisingit pa namin yung EK plan sa aming sked.

No more swimming classes

After watching 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning' with my friends the other day, I was able to look over some of the new animated movie trailers... and Flushed Away was a total shiznit. Super. Eto lang masasabi ko - the maggots [screaming maggots] drove me crazy! Hahaha.. Ang kulet nila. They look like slugs, actually.

Synopsis:

Beneath the streets of London, Roddy St. James (Hugh Jackman) is a pampered pet mouse who thinks he’s got it made. But when a sewer rat named Sid (Shane Richie) --the definition of “low life”--comes spewing out of the sink and decides it’s his turn to enjoy the lap of luxury, Roddy schemes to rid himself of the pest by luring him into the loo for a dip in the “whirlpool.” Roddy’s plan backfires when he inadvertently winds up being the one flushed away into the bustling world down below. Underground, Roddy discovers a vast metropolis, where he meets Rita (Kate Winslet), a street-wise rat who is on a mission of her own. Bringing back the 'Potter' in me

Halos anim na taon na rin mula nung una kong narinig ang 'Harry Potter' at namangha kay J.K. Rowling dahil sa kanyang obra. Pero recently medyo parang nawawala na ang grip ko sa topic na 'to.. Ewan ko ba. Ganun lang siguro talaga kahirap mag-aral sa peyups. Parang dementor. It sucks all the happiness in you. Pero okay lang. Back to basics

For the past three days I was like, the 'cave man.'
Dahil sa bagyo, tatlong araw din kaming walang kuryente, at tubig. Pati cash, muntik maubos. Mabuti na lang may naitabi pa kami beforehand.
Ano'ng ginawa ko sa tatlong araw na yun?
Eh di wala. Nothing productive.

• Pinilit kong tapusin yung laruan na tulad nung kay Ate Tin ('di ko alam kung ano tawag dun eh, basta puzzle-like siya) pero unfortunately mahirap talaga (or am i really that stupid and impatient..?). Mabuti pa si Kuya Twit nagawa niya agad in just two attempts.. hmp.

• I slept.. and slept.. and slept hanggang sa sumakit na ang ulo ko.

• I dared myself na mag-aral ng Molluscs.. pero wala eh. Lalo lang akong nalulungkot.

• In fairness, medyo nasagutan ko yung Lab Manual ko sa Genetics, though "hindi masyadong pinag-isipan" na answers, okay na. Basta meron. Hehe.

• Physics Lab manual ko hindi ko ginalaw. I hate physics.

• Siyempre kanino ko pa ba itutuon ang pansin ko para medyo matuwa ako kundi sa napaka-cute kong pamangkin.. Hahaha mabuti na lang nandiyan siya at may kalaro ako kahit papano. Haay. Sana ganyan siya for a long time, para nakakatuwa palagi. :-) October 1 na pala ngayon -- 8 months na si Rai! Yihee..

• Sumama ako kila tita para bumili ng tubig (inumin). Ang haba kasi ng pila 'pag dito sa amin kumuha, saka papaubos na rin mga stocks. Sa mall pa tuloy kami bumili. First time ko palang makatikim ng calamares that time. Not bad (well actually 'di ko alam na squid yun nung una kaya ko kinain..).

Nakakatuwa (for me ha) na isipin na for around three days eh muling na-experience ng mga tao kung papaano mabuhay about 50 or 40 years ago.

• Walang kuryente.

• Sa gabi, puro lampara/kandila ang nakasindi.

• Walang masyadong tao sa labas.

• Lahat ng tao may dalang balde tuwing umaga (para umigib).

• Walang cellphone. That was cool. Hahaha. Naka-relate din ako, sa wakas :-)

• No Internet (walang network connection, wala ring magamit na PC)

• Walang malamig na tubig. (Haay halos hindi ko kinaya)

• Walang TV! Goodness. Ang lungkot talaga.

• Lahat ng bata dito sa amin puro Philippine Games ang nilalaro.. nakakatuwa ngang panoorin eh. Para akong nasa probinsiya.

• Maaga kung matulog ang mga tao.

Ako, medyo hirap na sa 3 araw na yun. Papaano pa kaya kung 1960s pa talaga ako nabuhay..? Hmm.. sanayan lang siguro yan. Pero naisip ko lang, yun ang mahirap.
Dahil sa napakaraming mga bagay ngayon na bago, mas madali nang makalimot ang mga tao sa mga bagay na mayroon dati.
Mga bagay na noon ay mahalaga at hanggang sa ngayon ay 'di pa rin dapat kinaliligtaan.

Bad Day(s)

This past week was intense.

• Friday was the worst. I almost gave up. Almost shed a tear.

• I was with my friends, but i guess stress was on its way that time, and their company wasn't good enough to cheer me up.

• I guess that's really how it is sometimes. I have to do it my way.

• I did.

• It was tough.. *sob* I needed someone.

After that dreadful exam, I had dinner alone. Kahit sabihin kong sa Popeye's ako kumain, iba pa rin 'pag may kasama. Kaya ayun, medyo malungkot pa din..

• On my way home, I spent almost 2 hours to get to Buendia (from P. Faura, ha). Hindi yan joke. Promise. Heavy traffic sa La Salle, so the FX driver had to fight its way para lang makapag-U Turn, and go back and find a better route. Unfortunately he blew it off and we ended up stuck sa isang masikip na street. Antagal talaga. Mabuti na lang din at medyo madiskarte yung driver at nagawan pa niya ng paraan.

• Sa bahay, I (for the nth time) had to stay up all night and prepare for another exam (the very next day).

That very next day (Sabado), akala ko masaya na after ng exam sa Physics.. Pero ewan ko ba, nabad-trip talaga ako because of a really bad joke. Siguro nga totoo yun, kaya ako sobrang naasar. Sorry na rin.. Mabuti na lang kaibigan kita.

• i hate thurdays this sem. advance swimming kasi. this day is a total breakdown for me. though i enjoy swimming, hindi na biro yung mga pinapagawa sa amin ngayon. last thursday nga, we had a full legwork session. 'yung tipong may hawak kaming styro tapos paa lang ang gagamitin..?

• kelangan naming matawid yung 50-m na swimming pool:
• nang limang beses with a flutter kick (pang freestyle)
• 5 times din na frog kick (pang breast stroke)
• at 5 times ulit na flutter kick pero the other way around (naka backfloat)

• so all in all, 750 meters ang nilangoy namin. whew.. see? isn't that torture..?! konti na lang at naka 1 km na kami. after that, pinag-10 laps pa kami ng freestyle (around 70 meters in total)!!

• masama pa pakiramdam ko nun. Nung nag-lunch kami [sa Popeye's :-) ], nagdecide ako na uminom na ng gamot kasi parang lumalala pa. Good thing may dala si Rosa. Ayon, few hours pa, wala na akong headache pero my face became horrible. only to find out na Ibuprofen pala yung nainom ko. I get side-effects sa Ibuprofen. Pero yun nga, the damage has been done. Pantal everywhere sa mukha ko. But i know that a few hours more and mawawala din yun. At nawala na nga bago pa matapos ang Plant Morpho lab class ko.

• Freaky Friday
• Ito ang malupit. Ang araw na pinaka-aabangan ng lahat. Hmm, hindi naman lahat. Pero kasi, 1st exam namin 'to this sem. 1st exam sa invertebrate zoology (our only bio subject na 5 units). Heavy talaga. make that twice as heavy. sabay pala sa araw na 'to ang lecture and laboratory exam. San ka pa? bionic, di ba.
• At hindi pa dun natapos. May quiz pa kami sa Genetics. At hindi siya madali like i well, somehow, expect. Paano kasi, dati, pag nagpa-quiz yung prof, manghihiram ng pina-fotox naming lecture notes, tapos on-the-spot ang pagtatanong. Malay ko bang nagyon eh handa siya. As in. May kanya-kanyang questionnaire pa talaga. Ay nako. Anyway, "quiz lang yun! hehehe"

• Dance like there is no tomorrow
• First Biogyugan Practice - wow. Usapan was 6pm. Eventually, it turned out really bad (i think) dahil nagstart ang practice ng almost 8pm na! kamusta naman yun..?! Kaya ayun, 10.30 na nang mag-pack up kaya obviously wala nang trips to Sta. Rosa that night. Mabuti na lang there was this friend of mine na sobrang bait para patuluyin muna ako sa kanila. Grabe. First time kong makapunta sa bahay nila. The house was brilliant. Sobrang bait pa ng magulang.
• salamat pala sa mga pagkain na pinauwi nyo. ang sarap. ang dami. di ko maubos. hehe. paano na nga ba ulit gumawa ng macapuno..? hehe. :-) thanks, sobra.
• and your dogs! they're sooo coool. lalo na si pikot (tama ba..? hehe im not sure). poodle siya, right? haha sorry ha hindi ako masyadong familiar sa mga aso...

• Ok, going back sa practice... eto lang masasabi ko: oh, my, goodness. parang ayoko na. ibang level. grabe. iba talaga. nakakatakot. nanginginig nga tuhod ko kahit nung warm up pa lang. as in. honestly. para akong nag-aaudition sa indayog. Ganun ang level. or baka sobra pa.
• Oops. Tama na. this thing is quite confidential. Just wait and see. Sabi nga ng isa kong blockmate, "be part of this award-winning performance."
• Whew. I just hope he's right.

• And one more thing, dapat talaga nagddorm na ako.

June 12, 2006. While waiting for Italy's opening match against Ghana, i decided to surf the net for some World Cup goodies - anything that could remind me someday that I was once a football addict. First stop was adidas.com. Shoes, official World Cup jackets & jerseys, socks, bands (for the arm, wrist, knee, and head), and many more. But hey, wait. They're too hot to handle! What I mean is, they're way too expensive - shoes, jerseys, and jackets. I don't prefer buying socks and bands, either.

A soccer ball. What?!? Haha. I'm not a player. I'm a fan.

Anyway, the official matchball used during this WC was created by Adidas. More info on World Cup Official Match Balls.

Where do i go now? It's only half past 1am that night (i mean, morning). 90 minutes more before 'my game' starts.

Then i found these World Cup-inspired Monopoly Game sold at Amazon. Not bad. The game promises to "take you to where the game is." However, it's only available in Europe. :-(

^ one more hour ^ i'm starting to feel dizzy. Damn. if only there's a cable channel that would broadcast all the matches for FREE then i will definitely not push myself and wait for the live matches over the internet..

Fortunately, when i was about to give up searching for that 'perfect' souvenir. I stumbled into a compilation album, a soundtrack that is, officially released in celebration of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. I scanned who the featured artists were and I knew some of them. But i wasn't able to see the entire songs included - the game i've been waiting for already began a couple of minutes ago.


And then a week after (that is today), i finally managed to browse the net for the album and at the same time download the singles. Hmm.. time for a CD review.

For a not-so-musically-inclined person like me, hearing something like a World Cup official soundtrack would make me think of a collection of different songs that reflect what the event is all about. Songs that would focus on unity and pride. Music that would inspire and uplift the hearts of the players and the audience alike. Not screams, but chants that would dominate every stadium filled with individuals who crave for one thing - football. These expectations were not satisfied by this audio CD.


Disappointing. That's the most common description at some customer reviews.


I won't argue. Though the Opening and Closing Tracks were really meant for the World Cup, the rest is history.

I don't understand why Sony decided to include such tracks which, in my point of view, are not actually for the World Cup. It turns out that the company just did a random selection from all the songs in its vault.


Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" was remixed intentionally for the event. Not bad. The
up-beat rhythm is just right for mad football fans.

Basically, that's it.

Though some of the singles can cover up for the fact that it could provide comfort for those fans whose teams lost, still there are songs in there that are really, uhm, not right. Kelly Clarkson's Because of You: what the heck?!? and Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden - why?!? what's that for?!


Over-all, for me it would be 4/10.

Photoshop Fun

Ang astig pala ng Adobe Photoshop CS. This summer break ko lang siya medyo nadiscover at *poof*. It really got me. Ang daling gamitin, has a very user-friendly interface with a complete set of Help Documents that will provide you with all the support that you'll be needing. The graphic effects are quite astonishing. Very clean imaging. Absolutely better than the software na ginagamit ko before (ACDSee Picture Editor 3.1).

When I finished reading some of the Help Contents & absorbing some of the information provided sa tutorial section, I ended up editing this stupid pic that was taken nung nag-sleep over kami ng groupmates ko kila lovely.

It just happened. I dunno why. Siguro epekto nung fried chicken na niluto ni Arjay (the raccoon) hahaha. *peace* Rosa took the photos.

Karen.. uhm.. ano ba ginawa niya nun..? Haha. Can't remember eh. *sooorry* I managed to add a pair of wings (had it from an anime site) which i think is cool although the hair part was sloppy. = Adobe Photoshop CS is the shiznit in image editing = *absolute fun* just be creative enough... & have some patience, too^^

Superficial

I really felt weird & wired today. And I'm pissed off. On my way home I spent some time thinking what's wrong --- with me; with them; with everyone; with what's happening; with... nothing. I didn't figure it out. I fell asleep. The next thing I know was I'm already creating another [this] blog. And I still haven't figured it out. And now I'm caught in the middle. I messed it all up.

Nothing to write. Nothing to talk about.

Just needed some space. Maybe. Or a chum.

Summer Series [03]: Acceptable

The W.O.M.B.A.T. Results are finally in! That's the headline of one of the articles at MuggleNet when I visited a while ago. And then there I was. Shocked. *omg* In less that a second I rushed to JK Rowling's official site to check my results. Unclear, is it?

*flashback*

W.O.M.B.A.T stands for Wizards' Ordinary Magic and Basic Aptitude Test. It's administered by the Wizarding Examinations Authority. The head of this Authority is Griselda Marchbanks, CDMG, APMD, fbBB. The W.O.M.B.A.T. test appeared on Rowling's website on March 31, 2006. It was opened maybe in celebration of Fred and George Weasley's birthday (which happened to be on April Fools' Day). That was why some people [fans] have said that that 'thing' was all crap. Sort of a 'Joke'.

BUT IT WASN'T, OK?

This test consisted of questions which require an extensive knowledge of canon and an intuitive understanding of the Wizarding World to answer.  And then, after moments of thinking whether to take the test or not, I decided to take a shot. [And by the way, I informed sith about it and we took the test simultaneously. Haha. It turned out to be a lot more fun that i have expected.] *pota* and hirap! Darn. The test was subdivided into 4 parts (Magical Laws, Magical Transportation, Everyday Magic, and The Natural World) consisting of about 10 to 15(?) tricky questions each. See? Isn't that brain bugging, considering 'twas past midnight then?!?

Unfortuantely for those who (still) want to try their luck and take the test, it is finaly over! Awww.. It ended last Apr 4. How sad. That is why right at this moment, the results are officially released. As for me? Not bad. I got an 'A' However, it only suggests that I have to study [magic] harder. JK said another test (maybe WOMBAT Grade 2) is on the way, soon.

anyway, manonood dapat ako ng show ng Kamikazee kanina, kaya lang di ko na naabutan. sayang. autograph-signing na pagdating ko. "...sa likod ng mga tala, kahit sulyap lang, Darna."

Summer Series [01]: Full Throttle

2 months na si rai[zen] kahapon..! yihee. kaya pala mukha naman siyang masaya, and all. pero actually, habang tumatagal, parang lalong napapadalas ang pag-iyak niya.. hehe. gayunpaman, pinipilit ko pa rin maging mahinahon at isipin na lang na sadyang ganun siya [at the moment..] haay, sana nakakapagsalita na siya para naman hindi ako mukhang flip sa tuwing kinakausap ko siya.. hehe.

syempre, dahil special na araw kahapon, todo picture naman ako..! haha. buti na lang magaling mag-project 'tong pamangkin ko.. palibhasa may pinagmanahan.. haha [ehem..] :-)  Ha ha. ang saya naman nito. sana nung panahon ko uso na ang digicam para kahit minu-minuto may picture din ako.. hehe.

nung first month pala niya, naalala ko dinala na namin siya sa mall! haha. ibang klase din 'tong raizen na 'to. hehe. we had our dinner party nun sa rai rai ken. ang kaso nga lang, kami lang ang kumain.. pano ba naman, tulog! pero oo nga naman, cguro naisip niya, "kahit naman gising ako hindi rin ako puwedeng kumain niyan (sa ngayon), kaya itutulog ko na lang!". good thinking.. ha ha, ayan tuloy minsan 'rai rai ken' na tawag ko sa kanya.. :-)

TIME is starting to kill me at home.

inch by inch, i can feel the boredom slowly creeping in me. ayoko namang i-wish na sana mag-start na ang summer class kaagad kc alam kong maraming magagalit sa 'kin.. [haay, mabuti pa cla, nageenjoy. madaming plans, gimmick, and all that..]. saka hello? holy week muna pala. so wala talaga akong magagawa. hu hu hu. pero pano naman ako.. eto nga o, imagine, madaling araw na pero pilit ko pa rin nililibang ang sarili ko. haay.

i'm desperate to do something this week ['tis the only time i've got before summer classes kick in] anyway. i forced myself to sleep early last night para may energy ako pgdating ng 10pm onwards.'m planning kc to watch southpark & drawn together [sa jackTV] pro unfortunately, walang nangyari. nagising nga ako, i turned the tv on, pero my mind was somewhere else.. maybe in the wizarding world.. (bangag pa ako, in short).

so there, i ended up fully awake mga past-midnyt na. and here i am, still up. sayang walang nagYM. namiss ko tuloy si ann. mostly kc saturday night siya kung mag-online. [2 months, ann. tagal nun! :-)] dahil na rin sa lagi kong pagsurf ng net recently eh i'm slowly losing my grip on my TV sked. marami na akong namimiss. i wasn't able to see the latest ep. of the amazing race 9 last wednesday sa axn.mabuti na lang natsambahan ko nung friday nyt, may replay. tas smallville season5 din, medyo nalalabuan nako sa story. what's worse - almost 2 weeks have passed since the last time that i've watched a news program! omg. wala na tlga akong balita sa mundo. kahit nga local news lang.. oh no. this is bad. i have to reorganize myself na.

financially, im almost drained out. hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin nagttext ang BPI sakin regarding my account. Haay nako. ang tatay ko talaga. para yatang nakalimutan na niya ako, a. Hehe. Pa naman, april na. Hindi pa kami nakakabayad sa rent. Enrolment ko malapit na. Kaya hindi ako makalabas-labas ng bahay e, wla na akong funds. Hehe. Oops sorry po kung nanenermon ako.. nagpapaalala lang. hehe. Pag wala pa rin tonyt, iLL call him na. asap. :-) Uuwi pala sila this July! woohoo. feeling ko maabutan pa nila birthday ko (8/9). 2 months ang vacation nila eh. hehe. Ang kapatid ko...! sa wakas makikita ko na ulit. After 2 years. Naman. Sana nakakaintindi ka na kahit English man lang. Hehe. Kundi, naku, kelangan mo tlga akong turuan mag-italian. Ha ha. sosyal. Ciao!

Comm3 (3 u.), at dev.Bio (5 u.). Hmm. Ngayon pa lang i have my goals na. Gaya nga ng napagusapan namin ng friend ko, we'll do [must do] better this summer. Kelangan talagang bumawi. My [our] second sem was a disaster. I'm expecting nga a warning letter from DB (dept.of biology) regarding my standings sa bio subjects.feeling ko tres ako sa biostat eh. F**p yang finals na yan. lalo pang bumaba ave. ko. What the heck. Bio students kasi are expected to hav an ave. of not less than 2.75 sa bio subjects per sem. hmph. btw, im looking forward to comm3. i just hope i have enough confidence to pull through. pakapalan 'to ng mukha. ok lang naman siguro. feelingero din naman ako minsan eh. :-)

Reality B[y]tes

Wala lang. May exam ako almost 8 hours from now. Haay.

This week was.. horrible. Sa akin, sa iyo, sa kanila, sa ating lahat. A nightmare. Tapos na ang friday. Sabado na bukas. Pero toxic pa rin.  Ako nga hanggang sa miyerkules pa eh.  Marami na ang pagod.
Sana matapos na. Mayroon ng umaayaw. Meron ng gustong sumuko.

So far, this has been [my] busiest week in UP. The most toxic. SO FAR pa lang 'to ha. What more can this school offer?!? Haaay.

Ganito nga siguro ang isang Iskolar. Maaga pa, pero sinusubukan na. Malampasan naman kaya?

Dapat.

Sa ngayon siguro 'sapat na' ang pumapasa. Pero [hindi dapat laging ganon]

Kaya pa 'to. Eh Ikaw? Kaya mo pa. Alam mo yan.

At sa bawat problemang pumupukol sa'yo, alam kong alam mo kung sino-sino ang mga pwede mong lapitan at hingan ng tulong. Kahit ano pa yan. Try mo maghanap sa canteen, o baka sa library, o baka naman nasa tabi-tabi lang [sa mga corridors]. O baka nasa [popeye's] :D  Basta.

Pano kasi, i've been the bunso ever since... ano kayang feeling ng may younger bro...? sa mga nakita ko, masaya. Kakainggit nga eh. Lalo pag yung mga makulit pero bibong bata. Sana ganun ka din pag laki mo (parang ako). Naku, ang swerte ng batang 'to. Spoiled ka sa kin, sigurado.

Mayhem and [All That]

This past week was unbelievable.

It started out as a disaster. [most of them were]

Yup.

As usual, it was all because of my 'waking up' problem (especially on a monday morning). Hindi naman ako nagpuyat nun. Before midnyt tulog na ko. Pero ewan. Maybe the previous nights were horrible. So my energy was really drained out..until that sunday night.

The effect: a missed class. The worse part: it's BioStat.

Whoa. And i recently found out that my biostat prof is really INTO getting the attendace. She'd die for it! [joke]. No, really, she's into it. She could give a failing grade to someone who's really good in statistics but somewhat tardy. I still hope she's not. I'm worried because i also missed the previous meeting before this one. So all in all that was two consecutive absences. Wow. Strike two for me. No. Make that three, for all the times that i've been late... or, maybe three-and-a-half [is there such thing? ha ha] for all the quizzes that i haven't submitted ever since she gave one. OH NO... this is not good. Guyz help me naman o. :-)

That day was also a failure for me in physics (immediately after biostat).::: I didn't know that we had an assigment! Darn. Actualy i was also absent last time. And no one told me about that freakin' homework. I dont really blame my friends but... okay, okay. My fault. :-) Lesson learned: when planning not to go to school, always keep in touch, no matter what.

Tuesday was fine. It was fun actually, especially in my HumSt20 class. He he. Thanks to sith [the sit-in expert sa humst20]. The truth is, I [we pala] made fun with the prof. Hehe.. sorry po.. Ganito kc yun. Yung prof kc (woman) may one very noticable 'curl' ang kanyang hair. Parang sadya talagang may ganun. Some sort of a 'pigtail' or something..? It caught my attention and it was like..

Me: "Whoa..a double-stranded DNA helix...!"

Tapos dinagdagan pa ni sith. Sabi kc niya abangan ko daw kc baka mamaya mag-replicate yun tapos after sometime, puro ganun na yung buhok ni ma'am.. Hihi, 'afro' na siya. Ha ha.. Oh no, im so mean to my profs.. sorry po ulet.. E kc naman, i just needed something to entertain myself during your oh-so-boring class discussions. Well, all im saying is, it's your fault after all. [joke].

What i did not realize during that week was that at least, somehow something good is coming my way.

My first biochem exam result was given. It wasn't excellent [i never had one] but it wasn't a disaster either. Fair enough for someone like me. Thank God for that score. Really. Not a bad start for me. Maybe if i work a liitle bit harder, if i give a little bit more, then i might exceed my own expectations. Here is another lesson i somewhat learned: For someone who has loads of subjects in a sem [like me], always balance your priorities. If you're interested on the subject, then be consistent. if you don't like the subject then you must at least give some efforts.

As for me, i'll do it. whether i like it or i should like it.

Oo nga pala, friday was also one of the best last week. E kc naman, P.E. time..! Hehe. Honestly this is one of my best PE yet. I loved swimming before, but I'm starting to love Taekwondo more than ever. This one is really COOL. Na-miss ko talaga 'to kahit until now may muscle pains pa rin ako sa neck and shoulders.. Sulit naman. XD

Okay, so, the year of the Fire Dog.. Haha (Hope I'd be luckier this time.. :-) It's the first day of the year and i still have no idea what my resolutions are (or will be) this year.
'Wag na lang kaya? Haha. As if naman magagawa ko yun.. But I'll try. Despite all the stuff, it's torture time once again! Why? Because...
Ay nako pasukan na naman. at napakadami kong exams. Whew. What a 'wonderful' way to start my year (and my friends', too) Haha. Kaya, kopyahan na! Bahala na nga. Pati yung reviewer ko sa chemistry di ko pa tapos. At yung nirerewrite kong lecture notes unfinished pa din.
But anyway, i think i can still squeeze in these unfinished businesses on my schedule this week. Maybe Wednesday (kung walang exam). Hay sana nga wala. Hmm pero parang meron..? Whatever. Bahala na ulit. Haha.
