Salamat po, sa lahat. Sobra.

36-hour sem-break

Wow. Unbelievable. Unimaginable.


I never thought I'd go this far - to have only an approximately 36 hours [could be less] of sem break.

Give me a break [literally]. Darn it.

Kakatapos lang ng huli kong finals kaninang umaga. Sa wakas natapos din ang sem na 'to. My worst sem, so far [academically]. Oh no. I have to do good (I mean, better) in order to have decent grades before going into med school. Whew. Hirap.

Speaking of med school, kaya naman 1 & a half days lang sem break ko (specifically from 12 noon kanina hanggang bukas) kasi starting this Sunday up to October 31 (straight ha - no free day), my classmates and I will be attending sessions sa isang review center in preparation for the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test) this coming December. Then we'll have (I think) a 5-day "All Saints' Day Break" tapos yun na naman, review na naman. And immediately after that - enrolment na! Fudge. 'San ka pa.

I just hope I don't break.

And sana maisingit pa namin yung EK plan sa aming sked.

And to you, my friend - in this very unfortunate day, tulad nga nung napag-usapan natin nila Mameng, everything can happen - and there's always a reason behind it. Amazingly, it's good that in times like this, we now know where and whom to turn to.

Don't worry too much. Everything will be fine.

Flushed away

No more swimming classes

• kakatapos lang ng finals namin sa swimming kanina at sa wakas, tapos na! ang saya talaga.
• I now know how to swim properly
• I can even save lives (naks..feeling lifeguard?!) - Well actually, Advanced Swimming is about basic life-saving techniques
  

Time to remove the excessive melanin on my skin

• Ang itim ko na, super. As in. Pero maraming solusyon diyan. And this is the perfect time para simulan iyon.
• Nothing can stop me - wahahaha
  

No more weekly body aches

• give me a break - no more body massage!
• no more pain relievers
  

Sa lahat ng kaklase ko [except *toot* - joke!] sa ADV-SW (Thu., 10-12), congrats! ang galing galing natin. Sobra. Yihee..!

Dora, ingat ka diyan. Pasalubong! :-) Si Nemo ha, 'wag mo kalimutan. Dapat naka-aquarium ha. Hihihi. :-)

Rosa, sorry sa paghihintay ng matagal kanina.. it's not a good attitude, I know. I'm doing my best para mabago yun.. I'm sure pati si sith ganun din. Sorry ulit!

After watching 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning' with my friends the other day, I was able to look over some of the new animated movie trailers... and Flushed Away was a total shiznit. Super. Eto lang masasabi ko - the maggots [screaming maggots] drove me crazy! Hahaha.. Ang kulet nila. They look like slugs, actually.

Synopsis:

Beneath the streets of London, Roddy St. James (Hugh Jackman) is a pampered pet mouse who thinks he’s got it made. But when a sewer rat named Sid (Shane Richie) --the definition of “low life”--comes spewing out of the sink and decides it’s his turn to enjoy the lap of luxury, Roddy schemes to rid himself of the pest by luring him into the loo for a dip in the “whirlpool.” Roddy’s plan backfires when he inadvertently winds up being the one flushed away into the bustling world down below. Underground, Roddy discovers a vast metropolis, where he meets Rita (Kate Winslet), a street-wise rat who is on a mission of her own. If Roddy is going to get home, he and Rita will need to escape the clutches of the villainous Toad (Ian McKellen), who royally despises all rodents and has dispatched two hapless henchrats, Spike (Andy Serkis) and Whitey (Bill Nighy), as well as his cousin--that dreaded mercenary, Le Frog (Jean Reno) --to see that Roddy and Rita are iced, literally.
