Better than Never

Okay.

This post might seem a little [uh, maybe not 'a little'] late. When everyone has finally said what they had to say about Palawan and finally did what they had to do in order to tell the world and let all the people know what their experiences were during the 10-day Field Biology trip (in Palawan), here I am, still trying to figure out [until now] the best way possible to share mine. J

And so here it is! Ahahaha.. (I'm actually browsing through the photos I took while writing this entry)

DAY 1

Okay. I call this day one – the departure day (April 27 – happy birthday jen! Hehe). Medyo puyat pa ako ng konti because of some very recent sleep-overs.. but luckily, I arrived on-time sa meeting place ng grupo namin, sa dorm ni Ate Tin (sa Malvar St.).

Minutes before lunch time, dumaan muna ako sa UP para kunin ang ilang mga laboratory equipment like the Horiba Water Analyzer which was like 350,000 pesos worth daw according to Kuya Edgar. [oh no! hehe. Better be very very careful on this one..]

Before we go, I grabbed the chance to say goodbye to my friends that didn't take Field Bio.. kaya ayun, picture-picture! Ahaha.. That way I would be able to monitor the changes of my skin color until I return.. :D (maaraw kaya sa Palawan? Ahahaha...)

1:30 PM was the call time at Pier 15 (or 12? Ahaha.. can't remember na). Kuya Joram, Ate Christine, and I arrived quite on time but it looked as if were late 'cause almost everyone else was already there.. hehe. But before that, the three of us had a great time laughing and talking while were on our way there.

"..ayan ate, may pinapabigay sa inyo si Rosa."

"aww.. ang sweet talaga nun. sayang di siya kasama"

"dear...blah..blah.." (someone started reading)

"oi, 'wag niyo daw ipapabasa sa iba kung ano man nakasulat diyan!"

"..oops, sorry. J"

"ahaha.. ok lang yun. Di naman niya alam.. hehehe.."

Pagpasok sa terminal, di namin kasama sila Jaja at Ate Ross. Nahuli sila ng dating. Nakaka-kaba yun, kasi na kay Ate Ross yung food namin (for the whole week) tapos na kay Jaja naman mga lab instruments (si Horiba!). But it turned out fine naman after half an hour. J

Pagpasok sa Ferry – WOW. Omfg. Bakit ganito?!?

The place was like – almost economy. Grabe. Disappointing. A lot of us (or maybe everyone nga eh) expected something better than what was in there for us. Hmft. Pero anyway. Ayun. Mapagtyatiyagaan naman. But then again, on second thought – for the next 28 hours?!? NOOOOOOOO......!!!

Everybody seemed happy naman.

I took a couple of photos inside, just to have a quick look on how the people were trying to adapt (ahaha.. sana walang mag-evolve). Then after that, Ate Christine and I decided to stay sa Deck until the ship leaves. Wala lang. Para dramatic ang pag-alis from Manila.

:-p

May TV naman malapit sa pack namin (sa group). Pero kulang yun. Bukod sa sobrang crowded na situation, eh umuuga pa once in a while.. so wala tlgang ibang choice kundi ang humiga at matulog. Pero habang tumatagal, unti-unti ring nagsilabasan ang mga baraha. Haaaay.. mahaba-habang round 'to mga tsong!

The night drifted with A LOT of shuffled cards..

Ang hirap palang gumawa ng entry with a lot of pics in it. So much formatting and re-layouting!

Okay, as expected. This entry might be tooo long (and boring at the same time) if taken on just a single run-down. So there. I guess for the next few days I will have to take responsibility of what I have started tonight, hoping to finish all these just before the new sem starts (ahaha dapat lang naman).

Day 2 coming up!

Anyway, I created this entry using MS Office Word 2007. Yup. It has a new feature (Create New Blog Post) where you can create your post offline, and once connected on the internet, you can automatically publish it.

Well, not bad since you could easily...blah.. blah.. *Oops. I guess I have to shut it up first. I'm planning to write an entry about this one. :)

Haaaay. So much to write.

Write! (hehe..) wala lang.^^

I just hope I won't be too damn lazy for the next couple of days in order finish all these.

Trying to get a good grip

Goodness.

I was away for ten days. Now I'm back.

I haven't seen all of my friends yet.
Haven't had any conversations with them yet.

I'm just here. At home.
In my room.
On my bed. With Sickle.
On-line.

And this. [points on two open windows on Sickle's screen]
What is happening?

Is this really where I left off?

Goodness.

Breather

just got back. 7 hours ago.

anyway.

just when i thought i was ready to talk about my 10-day field biology trip in Palawan.
i guess i'm not.

maybe i'm just excited. or not.

i'm tired. yeah. quite.
got sick.
home sick.
the 'real thing' sick.
love sick? (ha ha ha. not funny)
sea sick.
and i am still recovering.

so i need some rest. bed rest.

maybe i'm just trying to, uh, do something. since sobrang boring nung trip pauwi. 28+ hours. goodness.

maybe this is just a breather.
a point where i'm beginning to see things in their most complicated order.

paperworks
reports
presentations
exam
e-t-c

or

maybe i'm just not prepared.
yeah.

maybe i'm STILL not prepared to continue where i left off.
