Mary GrandPré's final work for the Harry Potter book series was finally completed, and was shown to the public last March 28.

She was the artist behind all the book covers of the U.S. Edition.


I like this last installment cover more that the OOTP (my previous book cover favorite).
Though quite similar (since they show Harry Potter as if he's about to fight), the mood on HP5 is gloomy. HP7 has brighter colors. More intense.
Oh well. I just hope Rowling won't disappoint most of us.

Pride

When you have it,


- you always don't want to be the first to do the step to be with someone

- you always try to hide your feelings

- you don't want others to know that you're hurt

- you are afraid of letting someone know that he or she is special

- you're afraid of losing someone, but also afraid to show it

- you're afraid to love someone whom you think can't love you back

- you are so aware of what others think that you can't do what you want

- you are not happy

- you lose everything without even trying to have it


I have it. A lot of it.

But there are those people who are so important to me that sometimes, I have to put down my pride just to make sure everything will be alright.


And to me, it's not the best feeling in the world.

Sino si Ann?

Ann, para sa'yo to. *grin*

These are random facts I know about Ann:
(which could either be right ot wrong)

1. pasok siya sa bs nursing sa upm (nung 1st year kami)
2. pero nag-bio siya
3. hindi siya mahilig mag-jeep
4. panganay siya
5. magaling siyang mag-mix 'n match ng kanyang outfit (which always turns out nice)
6. she cries easily
7. hindi siya nag-summer class last year para mag-disneyland
8. matagal siya mag-balik ng movies (hahaha)
9. first time college overnight niya ay kila nicole nung december 2005
10. wala siyang boyfriend
11. madalas siya makinig sa radio (wala siyang choice.. hahaha)
12. thesis partner niya si tonton
13. maraming beses na niyang na-misplace sa school ang kanyang filecase (worst-case scenario: naiwan niya sa burger king! :)
14. burger sandwich ang usual lunch niya sa school (or maybe pasta)
15. halos katabi ko siya sa little theater nung 1st day of school nung 1st year (we were on the same row, but pat was between us kasi)
16. puro binder refill ang notebook na gamit niya
17. malakas siya sumuntok (parang si... p**q*i**)
18. magaling siya. pero sa sobrang masayahin niyang tao minsan hindi halata
19. 19 years old na siya bukas
